Not sure which endings I’ll bring over to the next book yet but having Lady Argent slap you (deservedly) and then kiss you for controlling her at the start of Book 1 + Herald running over after seeing that on the security cameras (and he kisses you too lmaoo) in the span of a few pages was a gem hahah.Which of these abilities is iconic as a Perfect Paladin’s ultimate ability?InvulnerabilityA big hammer stunResurrectionA damage-over-time abilityWhich of these isn’t a Paladin?Purist ThunderwrathAbaddonUther LightbringerEzalor the Keeper of the Light I won’t be able to think about anything else when I listen to Andromeda by Weyes Blood now. Other than that, holy shit I haven’t been able to get this game out of my head since I started playing on Friday! The angst is so delicious!!! Mind you, it could also be me initiating the Ortega/Herald/Lady Argent polycule every playthrough I get because I just can’t help myself. Is there any way to stay at Chen’s or Lady Argent’s apartments after being discovered as a Re-Gene by the end of the book? And if so, do I need to be in a romance with them to initiate it? I was Confidants with Chen (81%) and Respectful/Openly-Flirting with Lady Argent (about 77% I think) but there weren’t any options for either of them when the time came to decide. Depression and mental health issues aren’t really rational or fair. I can see reasons for anger even if maybe it’s not fair to him.

But, he got shot by a sniper for his trouble and didn’t want to risk Ortega’s life. Same with Steel, he followed the clues and could have found us. It’s really not rational, and she’s working on sorting out her feelings in therapy, but it’s not an instantaneous process and she’s still angry at the government, just trying to work out why she’s angry at Ortega, if it’s fair and if she expected the impossible. It’s one thing to know that Ortega couldn’t have known about Sidestep being recaptured by the farm, and that the government manipulates Ortega with massive debts, and a different thing to feel abandoned and like you’re just a thing that never mattered except to be experimented on. Not sure if we’re allowed to get political but imagine the anger at the US government for invading Iraq and they didn’t have a program to torture superpowered soldiers into submission and then deploy them overseas. Emotionally, my Sidestep is lost in trauma, hating the farm, hating everyone who didn’t save her, who unthinkingly support this government. I think I’ve planted the seeds for the Herald/Ortega one but so far no threeways. They do, however, know Entropy is a telepath which I might try to change in a next run and I DEFINITELY wanna see how the Steel/Ortega poly thing goes. And so far, no one seems to suspect which is how I like it. Anyway, if my Step is gonna be revealed as Entropy it’s going to be 100% on his terms.

But maybe if she’s actually in it it’ll fix her brain? That’d be bad. Although, having a puppet with powers would be dope. I’m hoping he’s saving her and he’s not about to go all mad scientist with that regeneration (?) machine thing. And I’m 100% still manipulating Dr Mortun and he saved (?) my puppet from the hospital. Herald is a cinnamon role and he revealed to both him and Ortega that he’s a ReGene and Argent knows Entropy is a ReGene so, in theory, they can put the pieces together but they haven’t yet. Like I’m going to a meeting with Hollow Ground? Suitless? Please. Is that a common ending? Cuz my Shep is still very much keeping the whole I’M ENTROPY thing a secret. I’m seeing a lot of people talking about revealing themselves and such.
